Welcome

We are raising money for a multipurpose assistance dog for Owen and Annabelle Luschei.  Owen is 5 years old.  He has autism.  Annabelle is 3 years old.  She has epilepsy.

A multipurpose service dog would be a friend and a source of comfort for both children.  When they have medical procedures, blood draws or emergency room visits the dog is trained to comfort the children.  It will also be trained to track Owen if he wanders away.  An assistance dog will help Owen with social interaction and anxiety.

For Annabelle the dog would alert us if she is having a seizure.  This is a big concern at night when we are sleeping.  After a seizure she goes into a deep sleep and if she is on her back her airway may be blocked.  It is scary for all of us when it happens.  Emergency room visits are scary and the dog would be able to provide much needed comfort.
